This is a log of my complete restoration and transformation of my tiny 1:180th scale HMS Victory. This model was originally built in 1978, and was my first attempt at working with wood. After all these years, I am re-visiting her in an effort to make numerous technical corrections in her structure and to incorporate as much detail in her features as possible.
Gun Rigging
After several hours of playing around with techniques for how I might add rigging to the tiny guns, I have settled on this.
Had not planned to attempt this but couldn't abide the vacant look without rigging.... just didn't look finished.
